5.2.6 Double-Lok® Machine Seam Roofing System: Panels shall UL90 rated, rollformed, 24 gauge (minimum) structural quality aluminum-zinc alloy coated steel sheet complying with ASTM A792. All aluminum-zinc alloy steel sheeting shall have a minimum of class AZ-50 coating on both sides and a minimum yield of 50,000 psi. Panels shall have a new coverage of 24” with a 3” high rib at both sidelaps. The panels are to be mechanically seamed together at the sidelaps utilizing the Pittsburgh Seam. Endlaps shall be pre-punched for proper placement of fasteners. Panels shall be attached to the structural system with concealed clips with factory applied mastic.
5.2.6.1 Low Floating Clips: The clips shall be 3 3/8” in height providing a 3/8” clearance for insulation between the panel and the purlin. Floating clips shall provide a minimum of 2” movement to allow for expansion and contraction.
5.2.6.2 High Floating Clips: The clips shall be 4 3/8” in height providing a 1” thermal spacer for added insulation at the purlins. Floating clips shall provide a minimum a 2” movement to allow for expansion and contraction.
5.2.7 Ultra-Dek® Snap Seam Roofing System: Panels shall be UL90 rated rollformed, 24 gauge (minimum) structural quality aluminum-zinc alloy coated steel sheet complying with ASTM A792. Aluminum-zinc alloy sheet steel shall have a minimum of class AZ-50 coating on both sides and a minimum yield stress of 50,000 psi. Panels shall have a net coverage of 24” and a 3” high rib at both sidelaps. One side of the panel shall be female in configuration, suitable to accept the other male side, and form a locking assembly.
